Terms

E-Rechnung-Check is run by Vedacta, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048, India. By using the site you accept these terms. The German version at /nutzungsbedingungen says the same.
Information, not tax advice
The check, the questions on the duty and the texts explain what the e-invoice rules say, citing the paragraphs. They are general information, not tax or legal advice. Laws, letters of the Federal Ministry of Finance and their interpretation change; each page states the date it was compared with the official texts. Ask a tax adviser before relying on a result for a decision that matters.
The check uses the published validation rules of KoSIT and CEN. A file that passes them meets those rules; whether the invoice's content is right and whether your customer accepts it is up to you.
The invoice creator (paid)
Trying it is free: totals and the official check work without buying. The downloads of the files open with a one-time purchase at the price shown on the page; there is no subscription. It is sold by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, who takes the payment, charges any VAT due and sends the receipt; Dodo's terms apply to the payment. The purchase unlocks the creator in the browser you unlock it in, for your own business; the payment ID on your receipt unlocks further browsers of your business. Do not pass the payment ID on to others.
The creator writes files from what you enter. The details on the invoice, the choice of VAT option and keeping the invoices are your responsibility.
Refunds: if the creator does not help you, reply to your receipt email within 14 days of the purchase for a full refund, no reason needed. A refund ends the unlock. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Liability
The site and its free tools are provided without warranty of accuracy or completeness. For the creator, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price paid and excludes indirect loss. These limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Use of the site
You may use the tools freely and link to the pages. Do not disrupt the site or use it for unlawful purposes. The validation rules of KoSIT (Apache-2.0) and CEN (EUPL-1.2) are under their own licences; see the licence notices.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru having jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Contact: contact@vedacta.com.
